Text-to-ticket maintenance

A resident texts your PropFlow number; you get a tracked work order.

Your organization can have its own dedicated texting number. When a resident texts it, PropFlow matches them by phone number, opens their conversation, and - for maintenance requests - creates a tracked work order automatically.

How to set it up

    Open Settings > Integrations and find PropFlow messaging.

    Follow the setup to get your organization its own texting number (US business texting also requires a one-time carrier registration - PropFlow walks you through it).

    Share the number with residents. When they text it, the message threads into Operations > Messages, matched by their phone number.

    Maintenance texts become work orders automatically, attached to the right resident and unit.

  • Student housing gets an extra trick: unknown numbers are asked for a student ID and matched to their room automatically.
  • Residents can also file requests from their portal - same work orders, same tracking.
