How SMS consent works
Texting residents requires their voluntary opt-in - here's the flow.
US carriers require real consent before businesses text people, and PropFlow enforces it for you. Residents opt in through an optional, unchecked-by-default setting in their portal (Notifications) - consent is never required to rent or to use PropFlow.
PropFlow keeps the audit trail (when, what wording, from which device) and enforces consent at send time: residents who haven't opted in aren't sent marketing-style texts. Replies always work - if a resident texts you first, you can text back - and every message supports STOP to opt out instantly.
- Business texting also requires a one-time carrier registration for your number - PropFlow walks you through it during messaging setup.
- Email and in-portal notifications always work, regardless of SMS consent.
