Add properties and units
Set up your portfolio: properties, their units, and lease terms.
Leases connect a resident to a unit with the terms that drive everything else: rent amount, due day, deposit, and the term dates. Once a lease is active, rent charges, the resident portal, maintenance and reporting all flow from it.
How to build your portfolio
-
1
Open Portfolio > Properties and click New property. Add the address and details.
-
2
Open the property and click New unit for each rentable unit - a label like "2B", bedrooms, and notes.
-
3
Open Portfolio > Leases and click New lease: pick the unit and resident, then set rent, due day, deposit and term dates.
-
4
Activate the lease. Rent billing, the resident's portal and reporting now flow from it automatically.
- Properties, units, leases and residents are all linked - open any record to see its full history.
- Every record keeps a permanent timeline: notes, changes and activity stay attached to it.
